Choosing the best iPod for music only is no easy task -- mainly because there are SO many iPods! In regards to music, there are two different iPods that will really suit your needs. But you're going to have to decide how exactly you need to manage your music habits to find the one that will really suit you the best!
The iPod classic -- despite being retro and... well... classic -- is the best iPod to get if you want to store as many songs and music as possible on your iPod. It isn't as portable as the other iPod we're going to talk about -- but that's okay. iPod Classic's are the best music type iPod for music lovers if they're going to be doing most of their listening in one place -- or more specifically, the comfort of their own home!
Having so much space is also important if you plan to download music videos in addition to your songs. A lot of music fans tend to really just want to listen to music and songs whereas a completely different breed love to actually watch the music videos that come along with so many of our favorite artists songs. But the downside to downloading so many music videos is that they take up extra space since it is basically both music AND video. So if that's the route you'd like to take -- with that route being downloading both music AND music videos, then the iPod Classic is the absolute best choice for you and all of your needs. While it cannot hold as much music and music videos as say, an iPod Classic, an iPod Shuffle is just incredibly portable and it's small. So, if you're most interested in listening to most of your music when you're at, say, the gym exercising -- than the iPod Shuffle is definitely the way to go. It's small, compact and not as pricey as the iPod Classic is as well!
Regardless of which one you choose in the end, the most important thing is to know that iPods are probably one of the best made products in the world. They are extremely durable and investing the hefty amount of money that they so often require is really well worth it -- unless of course you plan to be constantly dropping or throwing your said iPod against a wall or floor. Then it won't really remain so durable -- but neither would practically every other very durable product you can think of as well!
